WHAT IS THE DEKALB POLICE ALLIANCE?
Business and civic leaders formed The DeKalb Police Alliance (DPA) to support the work of all sworn officers in all cities and jurisdictions of DeKalb. An independent, 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, our vision is to make DeKalb County the best and safest place to live, work, and play.
DPA devotes its time and energy to developing and garnering public support for all DeKalb-based police officers. Our goal is to provide additional programs and services that will allow these men and women to continue performing at their highest level, to reduce crime and to promote safety and peace in our community.
The DPA's signature service is a $10,000 life insurance policy for all full time sworn officers. New programs include a focus on an educational rebate fund and training.
